20 days practical training at ADGS + Heiniger Academy online theory modules and assessments
Level up your grooming education and obtain a formal qualification of Certificate III in Animal Services (Pet Grooming) through our Registered Training Organisation partner, Heiniger Academy. Students will complete online theory modules and assessments with Heiniger Academy, as well as complete practical training and assessments at a certified training centre (which is where we come in).

How it works

This course is run in conjunction with our registered training provider, Heiniger Academy. Heiniger Academy provides the online theory components of this course, while ADGS provides the practical training. Students are required to enrol with both Heiniger Academy and ADGS for this course.

Students will commence their online learning with Heiniger Academy, and then complete 20 days of practical training at ADGS. These 20 days will be split into 2x 10-day blocks (BLOCK 1 and BLOCK 2).

In BLOCK 1, students will undertake our Intensive Course where they will learn a range of skills including bathing, drying, clipping, and styling skills. In BLOCK 2, students will continue their practical training and have time dedicated to completing their required practical assessments.

Students are given 12 months to complete both the theory and practical elements of the course from the day they enrol with Heiniger Academy. As course spots are limited, we recommend that students check availability and secure their course dates with us before enrolling with Heiniger Academy to ensure they don't miss out.

Students are responsible for understanding the course requirements involved with this qualification before enrolling with Heiniger Academy and ADGS.

Students are required to complete the ADGS online learning component as part of their practical training. This training takes approximately 20 hours to complete and students are required to complete this in their own time before attending their practical training. This training is separate from the theory modules that are provided by Heiniger Academy.

Students are required to film themselves for some of the practical assessments. Students are responsible for filming and uploading their practical assessments, as (Filming equipment not supplied by ADGS).

The course fees stated on this page are for ADGS Practical Training only. Additional fees are payable directly to Heiniger Academy for the theory components of this qualification.
